”Post-human humanistics”. Fragments on Post-human
The present article is a survey of the massively discussed concept of the post-human, such as it is used mainly in the humanities. Using the philosophical systems of Michel Foucault and Gilles Deleuze as starting points, while also referring to the understanding that Ernesto Sábato and Giorgio Agamben have given to such concepts as „humanity” and „life” (as „zoe”, namely nude life), the author eventually concludes – alongside with Rosi Braidotti – that the post-human might be a major chance for the reconstruction of a post-human humanistics – freed from the anthropocentric and anthropocratic (though anti-human) excesses of the past century.
