Poetry between adversity and advertorials
Elena Vlădăreanu is considered to be a distinct voice of the “2000 generation” due to her relentless attitude against any kind of mystification. Thereby, she disapproves that particular discourse that lacks authenticity. Literature is no longer viewed as a mixing of textual devices, but as an organic entity, with a life of its own. Language enwraps the poetic message as natural as flesh and blood. The message is outspoken and aims to establish
a contact with the reader since both the poet and the public share the same reality, influenced to a great extent by media hype and coverage, fake icons, consumerism, statistics or pseudointimacy. That is why the text itself can not be separated from the context.
