Structuri Queer în Cercul Literar de la Sibiu: Corydon de Radu Stanca
Rezumat
Abstract: The present study maps Radu Stanca’s best-known poem, “Corydon,” from the perspective of the aesthetic and ideological program of the group he was part of, the Literary Circle from Sibiu. The path of decoding the text is guided by the very choice as title of a notorious gay symbol, known from the ancient lyric, revisited later by André Gide. Collaterally, I also investigate the way in which the homoerotic consciousness radiated within the group, the gay orientation of one of the prominent members, the literary critic I. Negoiţescu, being known.
