Jean-Marie Gustave le Clézio.

The Seeker of Meanings Jean-Marie Gustave Le Clézio is the author of a broad and versatile work. The heterogeneity of his novels, extremely varied, not only thematically but also in terms of narrative techniques, offers something for everyone, reconciliating over the years, attitudes and views on the existence.  The novelist finds himself in a constant search of itself, being a rootless who explores the details of an anxious interiority, prolonged, even overlapped, in the world object. In the second part of his work, he discovers the outside world, the South, the distant cultures, seeking for the meanings and the seeds of the freedom untouchable in the space of the European culture and the contemporary urban areas. All his work, in full accord with his existence, is built in the spirit of the “flights” he evokes and describes in one of his novels.
