REVIEW: Iris Popescu, Design incluziv. Exerciții de empatie în proiectare
Abstract: This critical essay analyzes the volume Inclusive Design. Exercises in Empathy in Design, edited by Iris Popescu, from a dual perspective: personal, as a person with a disability, and professional, as a graduate of special psychopedagogy. The text explores the relevance of inclusive design in Romania, highlighting both the value of empathy and diversity and the limitations of a theoretical manifesto in the absence of applied solutions. The essay aims to serve both as an invitation to critical reflection and as a call for systemic changes in education, culture, and the built environment.
