Estetica deteritorializantă a acceleraționismului nouăzecist: Nick Land între Kant și Deleuze
Rezumat
Abstract: This article discusses some of the earliest accelerationist texts of British philosopher Nick Land, focusing on their attempts to overcome a tradition of post-Kantian continental philosophy by appropriating concepts from Deleuze&Guattari’s theories. In doing so, I distinguish between a number of Landian texts in which the notion of the Kantian sublime is turned against its initial conceptualization by the German philosopher and some texts which corroborate different Deleuzo-Guattarian concepts, such as “deterritorialization” and the “body-without-organs”. The disavowal of Kantian transcendental idealism is linked, within Land’s texts, with a turn towards a cybernetic reading of Deleuze&Guattari’s concepts, which leads to one of the most popular accelerationist concepts, that of “capitalism as artificial intelligence”.
