Rezumat
Abstract:
The letters below, published here for the first time, are very important for at least two reasons. First, they reflect in a new and richer manner the personal relations between two key members of the Gustian School. Thus, we discover that the two were bonded, at a certain time, by a more profound friendship than assumed before. Secondly, the letters present us a Herseni which diverges slightly from the consecrated image of a researcher – that is, focused exclusively on science and academic career – a curious Herseni, using vivid and colorful language and describing little Berlin adventures.
