Valorificarea din perspectivă lingvistică a documentelor din campaniile monografice de la Șanț (BN)
Rezumat
The Documents from the Monographic Campaigns in the Village of Șanț (Bn County): A Linguistic Approach
Abstract: In the interwar period, the village of Șanț, located on the Upper Valley of Someș River, has always been the focus of researchers, several inventory actions for promotion of material and immaterial cultural heritage were carried out there. At the beginning of year 1930, shortly after the start of surveys for Atlasul lingvistic român [Romanian Linguistic Atlas], Sever Pop performed a linguistic survey based on a questionnaire with 2140 questions. Five years later, Șanț is one of the villages where the Sociological School from Bucharest makes a halt, event which involves the entire community. Having as starting point the materials collected in the monographic campaigns performed by the Sociological School from Bucharest during the period 1935-1936, this paper aims to analyse from linguistic perspective (phonetic, morphosyntactic and lexical) the dialect in this village. This research step is justified by the fact that the particularities of the spoken language were not highlighted in the studies published after the completion of the monographic campaigns, although they were a part of this multidisciplinary survey. As the material on which the research was based was not collected by linguists, but by sociologists, the phonetic, morphosyntactic and lexical particularities identified in the set of documents were compared to the linguistic material collected during the same period (1931) by Sever Pop within the paternalization project of the spoken Romanian language: Atlasul lingvistic român. The linguistic material offered by the documents of the sociological survey is varied, includes ancient/archaic elements, elements specific to the North-Eastern area of Transylvania, alloglotic influences, neologism influences, objectively highlighting the dialect of the locals in the village.
