Valori bibliofile (re)descoperite în patrimoniul Muzeului Naţional al Unirii Alba Iulia (sec. XVI-XVII)
Bibliophilic assets (re)discovered within heritage of National Museum of Unification Alba Iulia (XVIth-XVIIth centuries)
In many cases, identification, research and valorization of old books from the collections of different institutions that hold heritage goods is made by an interdisciplinary team, comprising both specialists on the history of printing and old book as well as restorers, that can offer supplementary information on the past of a book, sometimes helping at identification of some printings.
Our paper presents such a case where collaboration between researcher and restorer not only led to identification of some printings but also to extraction of some fragments that belong to other books, some rare or even unique copies. We refer to: Biblia (the Bible) (Ostrog, 1581), Approbatae constitutiones regni Transylvaniae et partium Hungariae (Oradea, 1653), A valtsag-titkanak masodik volumenje fogatékja (Oradea, 1647), Rövid igazgatas a nemes Magyar Országnak (Alba Iulia, 1647), Ur frigy szekrénye előtt. Dagon le-dülése (Cluj, 1670) and Neuer und Alter Kalender Auff das Jahr nach heilsanten Geburth und Herrn und Heilandes JESU Christi 1670 (Sibiu, 1669).
