An editor after and among many others
The study evokes the trajectory of the publishing house, Les Éditions des Cendres, who, during the first fifteen years of activity, has been submitted, in its turn, to the technical [r]evolution of the publishing business. A second aspect is related to the editorial plan and its employees. Finally, a brief comment is made on some of the two hundred and fifty titles published to this day. Among them, the Manuel de bibliophilie of Christian Galantaris, two volumes of around 400 pages, a greatly expanded edition completely revised of André Blavier’s Fous littéraires (1 200 pages), or the monumental work of Isabelle and André Jammes, Collection de spécimen de caractères (1517-2004).
