Sensul morţii. Cercetări tanatice clasice, analize despre o nouă ars moriendi

The meaning of death. Classical thanatic researches, analyses about a new “ars moriendi”

In the official discourse, as well as in the discourse offered by the Church death is considered, at first, a spiritual phenomenon and represents the originary schism, the division of man from Life, from God as a direct consequence of disobedience. The physical death este the (derived) effect of the spiritual death and presumes the separation of the soul from the body, the first phase of the recursion to the Font of Life. That is why, the dissolution of the body represents, in the patristic tradition, „the benevolnce of God towards an, so that the evil can not remain without death”.
Keywords: thanatology, God, spiritual death, church, dissolution of the body.
