Review: Olesia Zaharova, Гендерные стереотипы в современном российском обществе [Stereotipurile de gen în societatea rusă contemporană]

Abstract: The monograph Gender Stereotypes in Contemporary Russian Society analyzes the mechanisms that produce and transform gender types and how these stereotypes interact with political-economic discourse. The author presents original sociological research to demonstrate how gender stereotypes have evolved in the discursive realms of politics, economics, and the family in contemporary Russia of the past twenty years.
