About „crime of opinion”

Although the expression crime of opinion is used quite often, if someone is put in the position to explain it, it will be rather difficult for him/her to do that, because the concept is rarely defined. Even if we don’t have a clear definition of this concept, we used it in the common language related with the idea of a restriction of the freedom of expression. Is it the crime of opinion illegal according to our criminal law or is it just an argument in a dispute about media ethics?
