Lucian Blaga. Essay on poetic modernity
The present study is focused on Lucian Blaga’s poetic work, having its starting point on the evidence that, from all the major inter-war poets, Blaga seems to have undertaken the most serious deflation. His work, sometimes mostly influential, does not arise anymore the „anxiety of influence” in any contemporary poet. In a world where the process called by Max Weber die Entzauberung der Welt has reached its final stasis, such a passionate pledge for the Verzauberung der Welt seems to be as inadequate as it gets. The study aims at identifying an angle of interpretation which to make possible the recovery of Blaga’s modernity.
