Rezumat
Food Habits in the Village of Șanț: Ethnological Documents and Comments
Abstract: The monographic campaigns carried out in the village of Șanț, in 1935 and 1936, under the coordination of Dimitrie Gusti, served as the main argument for conducting research with the aim of producing a folkloric monograph of the Land of Năsăud (between 1955 and 1962), for the particular attention given to this region by the folklorists Nicolae Bot and Virgiliu Florea (in November 1966) and by Ion Cuceu and Maria Cuceu (in August 1992) or, more recently, for the surveys on certain topics related to traditional culture. This study aims: (a) to present the main theoretical and methodological contributions of the Sociological School of Bucharest regarding the topic of food traditions; (b) to reproduce and analyze a fragment of an interview about food habits conducted with Lucreția Cotul from the village of Șanț in 2021.
