Rezumat
I.L. Caragiale. Substantiality of the world and fascination of the text
Part of a wider research project of interpreting Caragiale’s works, the present paper aims at analysing some of the writer’s short texts, considered relevant for the world’s ontological crisis theme. The absence of any transcendental meaning dwells in Caragiale’s meticulous wording. The world as a theatre décor that can only come into being as text, the world as harmony within chaos, these are the main themes in Caragiale’s works.
