Interculturality and spiritual integration.
Aspects of Romanian-German cultural exchanges in Joachim Wittstock’s essays. The main focus of the present article is the essay volume Einen Halt suchen [Seeking support] (2009) by Joachim Wittstock (*1939), Romanian German language writer, analyzed in terms of interculturality This approach is usually a challenge, on the one hand an intrinsic analysis of the literary text is carried out, on the other it is indispensable to transcend it, taking into account the specific context of multicultural spaces. Sibiu is such a multicultural space and has a lot to offer as far as interculturality is concerned, which will be exemplified through Joachim Wittstock’s essays.
