Rezumat
The heritage of protestant church “St. Maria” from Cisnădioara.
Diary of a monument
We want to emphasize that the purpose of this article is to:
– highlight the first existence of the medieval parish church, probably originally built in Romanesque style, then change one Gothic and completely replaced in 1764 with a baroque one;
– make known certain items/components of particular value which are kept in the church.
So the study will include a catalog of goods that make up the current assets of the church, related to their function in the church or the religious service. The final article will be character rather of an investigation, or in terms expressive of a diary of an ecclesiastical monument from 20th-21st century.
The focus of this study will fall on the completion and data correlation known about the stages of construction of the building and especially about the heritage of the protestant parish church from Cisnădioara (St. Mary), who despite radical structural transformations in the eighteenth century, it has held / holds rich liturgical inventory and church furniture.
