The following text reviews Pamfil Matei’s study regarding the life and work of one of the foremost leaders of the ASTRA Association and of the Transylvania cultural magazine, Andrei Bârseanu. Andrei Bârseanu şi „Asociaţiunea” / Andrei Bârseanu and the „Association” (InfoArt Media, Sibiu, 2011) is a monographical text, with an introductory study, a biobibliographical index, a documentary breviary, selected texts of Andrei Bârseanu, notes, glossary and bibliography, all of these thoroughly realized by Pamfil Matei.
