The (In)Actuality of Lucian Blaga’s Theory of Influences
The present study aims at re-analyzing and restating the theoretical legitimacy and the practical applicability in comparative literature of the two types of influences: the modelling and the catalytic ones, such as they are defined and presented by Lucian Blaga in the Trilogy of Culture, as well as the actuality and contemporaneousness of this theory with respect to the contemporary Romanian literature/culture and the Weltliteratur / World literature.
