The energetical security of the European Union. From Nabucco to South Stream
Energy need is attracting more and more attention states worldwide. Subject to natural resources is a subject list debates met daily in the international press. Encounter daily in the media or televised debate article which is related to the global energy market. The present paper is trying to show which project, whether the Nabucoo or the South Stream project is more reliable for Romania and the European Union and which are the advantages or the disadvanteges of each project. Certain analysts, whom are in favour of the Nabucco project, say that the South Stream project proposed by the Russian Federation is only trying to make the European Union more dependent to the gas reserves coming from there. An alternative, such as the Nabucco project, would be much more interesting for the Eu because it would grow its political and energetical independence from the Russian Federation.
