Golopentia, at the time director of the Institute for Statistics in Bucharest, requests the help of his former student become member of the emergent communist nomenklatura Miron Constantinescu in order to ensure the survival of D. Gusti’s Romanian Social Institute (a reduced version of Romania’s Institute for Social Science, itself a smaller format of
the Romania’s Institute for Social Research).
