140 years from His Departure on the Path of Eternity
Andrei Şaguna’s figure has left an important mark on the national and ecclesiastic history of Transylvanian Romanians starting with the mid-19th century. In this brief introduction the author makes a comprised presentation of the personality of the great hierarch and saint, with the remembrance of some biographical moments and of the literature dedicated to him, but mainly of the legacy, sometimes so difficult to preserve and honor, of the personality who in the fall of 2011 has been elevated to the honour of the Holy Shrines.
