The relationships of the church law with the old Romanian books history
− the found books−
Accurate understanding of old Romanian books history is closely linked to the cultural traditions and to the canonic rules of the Greek Orthodox Church, because the way of using the books was settled from the very first centuries of the Primary Church. Church Law regulated even the case of the books which were stolen, found in different locations and which needed to be returned to their first owner. The reference zone for this study is the historical state called Tara Moldovei (The Country of Moldavia). The chronological limit is the middle of the 18-th Century and the documentary basis is formed of Church Law works and also by the notes found on the books from the geographical area we have already mentioned.
