Foreword

The current issue of Revista Transilvania contains the works presented at the National Conference “Bibliology and National Cultural Heritage. Old Romanian Books in the Habsburg Empire (1691-1830), 11th edition, that took place in Alba Iulia on October 26 & 27, 2017. Specialists from over a dozen Romanian instututions gathered at the annual Conference and worked towards establishing the place of bibliology in the academic discourse of the country.
