Antonio Momoc, (2012), The political traps of Romanian interwar sociology – Sociological School of Bucharest between Carlism and Legionary Movement, Bucharest, Curtea Veche
The political traps of Romanian interwar sociology – Sociological School of Bucharest between Carlism and Legionary Movement express a political sociology view on the Sociological School of Bucharest, which aims to clarify the relationship between King Carol II and Gusti’s School of Sociology, by analyzing both individual and group professional paths of Gusti’s School members, in a political context dominated by social issues, political instability and the rise of the extreme right movement. Antonio Momoc’s approach is an analytical and comprehensive scientific effort to bring in reader’s attention an alternative perspective of the interwar Romania.
Keywords: Bucharest School of Sociology, Dimitrie Gusti, political background of sociologists, political system of Romania, King Carol II
