Old Romanian Book from Széchényi National Library from Budapest (XVITH-XVIITH Centuries)*
This paper exemplifies the existence of 16th-17th century Romanian printings in the holdings of Széchényi National Library from Budapest. The presented material was known by the Romanian researchers. Ioan Chindriş published in the past decades a list of books from the libraries of Budapest, yet without supplementary bibliographical data. In the paper, we added ownership marks and other notes to demonstrate the circulation of books in the Romanian area and their owners from the Hungarian area, especially lawyer dr. Iuliu Todorescu. The majority of the Romanian books were added to the holdings of Széchényi Library exactly due to the donation of Todorescu.
