Potter-ology (the science on Harry Potter), a fundamental science on a culturally aggressive marketing
One can observe the way that contemporary man orients towards re-valuing magic – in cinematography, literature, visual arts, even academics. He does nothing more than to respect the general principles of marketing within the framework of economics, which he transfers to cultural marketing. It is expected then that all finite products of the contemporary society should react to the demand created by the market – which encompasses individuals to which the appetite for magic, under different shapes and formulas, grows feverishly. A great example in this respect is the Harry Potter series with all that defines this „phenomenon”.
