Using the occasion of the commemoration of 200 years since the birth of the Metropolitan bishop Andrei Şaguna, we are using the opportunity to signalize certain facts about the personal library of Andrei Şaguna, one of the most important among those which ever belonged to a Romanian inhabitant of Sibiu. For such a study we evoke the 2 catalogues of the library from 1862 and 1873, as well as the existing volumes from the actual library of the Transylvanian Metropolitan seat.
