Rezumat
Narrative Transpositions of the Toponymical Legends in the Area of Slănic Prahova
The article approaches the origins of local culture in the area of Slănic Prahova, especially the legends of the analyzed area. The legend can be performed in a variety of reportable environments without age and gender differentiation. There is an interdependence between the function, the story situation and the legendary environment of the legend. The deciphering of the Slănic Prahova area has been achieved through an urban ethnology investigation that has given the site its unique profile status. The field researched reveals an area known since antiquity, due to the exploitation of the salt, but also of the historical personalities who have been involved in the development of this area.
The article only focuses on the segment of the legend that outlines a heavily loaded area from the historical and folkloric point of view and which will give authenticity to the Slănic Prahova area and is the first ethnological case study in this area based primarily on the oral information, on several documents in the manuscript.
