Rezumat

Unknown testimonies about Voivode Mihai in a chronicle from 1603 published in Nürnberg and kept in the Şchei of Braşov

The article presents a newly discovered German Chronicle, in Gothic spelling, describing historical events from Hungary and Transylvania starting with 1452. It locks the title page and the first sheets, but analyzing the book we discovered that it was printed in Nürenberg by Johann Lansserberger, in 1603. We don’t know details about point of view of the presentation indicates an eye witness. The great importance of the text resides in the special attention it pays to the period of Mihai Viteazul (Michael the Breave), some historical facts being still unrevealed. It is the first time when excerpts of the text become publicly available.
Keywords: Nürenberg Chronicle, Johann Lansserberger, 1603, Braşov Şchei.
