The subject of Romanian feminine diaries. The rejection of biographism and the machism of the critics
The subject of the present work is the Romanian feminine diaristics. Amongst the problems in discussion we count the reception of the diaries within the Romanian literary critique and the criticism towards women’s literature. Both the journal writing and the women’s literature have been skeptically received by the most important literary critics. This work is pleading for the entering of feminine diaristic literature in an extended literary canon. The pleading for feminine diaristics is sustained not only by a type of writing which would be specifically feminine, but mostly by a selection of those diaries, whose imaginary is relatively homogenous.
